Tussah Silk Noils (4+ colors)
Tussah Silk is a protein fiber produced by the silkworm that eat the leaves off of whatever tree they live on. The fibers have a long staple length of 5-8 inches, and have a natural shine to them.
Noil is the short fiber left over from combing wool or spinning silk and used as a decorative additive for many spinning projects like rovings and yarns.
Perfect for adding texture to a carded batt. See the last photo for an example, where I used the cotton candy noils.
Available in 2-ounce quantities.
