Using our felted wool rope, learn how to make your very own woven basket!
This soft and bulky corespun yarn is made with mohair! Traditional look and feel, with a nice twist.
We raise angora goats in Idaho for their mohair, and we use some of it to make corespun yarn. It's great for weaving tapestries and rugs. This yarn adds unique texture and is a pleasure to work with. Unlike felted wool rope, corespun yarn is soft and easily manipulated.
Made with natural colored mohair, resulting in varying shades and color movement.
Available by the 50-yard bump.

Hi, I'm Sarah! I hand-dye yarn and raise angora goats.
My mission is to supply high quality and unique fiber supplies to creative individuals. Here at Pine Rose & Co we care about the fiber journey, where it is from and who made it. We support fair trade woman artisans and family farms, so that we can provide you with the best fiber supplies from around the world!
Growing up (yes, I was one of those ten year old fiber obsessed girls 😜) I could never find a source for high quality chunky yarns! I was constantly looking for chunky yarns at big box stores and fiber festivals. I would find some but it was either super expensive or acrylic. Now I’m 23 and can proudly say that I carry my favorite super chunky wool yarns! I carry over 25 colors of affordable and high quality merino which has the perfect squish!
